Is it really necessary?
In martial arts participants train to be attuned to every part of their body when executing manoeuvres, if one part of our body is under utilised and lacking in development it won’t perform to its optimum level. This is true in any business/service or practise. If a piece of equipment is not required best practise would be to either replace it with one that is required or reassess your needs entirely. A problem usually stems from incorrect planning or assumptions of requirements, take the initiative and strip your processes/systems/ideas down to basics and if need be, start all over again with a renewed vision of where you want to go, with whom, when etc.
