From Twighlight to Eclipse
When I watched ‘Twighlight’ the first series I was immediately taken in by the quiet menace that lurked in the background. It wasn’t the air of violence or dark suspense but the calm serene displaced tranquility of ‘normal’ that drew me further and further into each scene as the plot gradually but oh so beautifully took me to the edge of my film loving interests until it ended with a promise for more. I felt an urge in my stomach as I cried our ‘NO, It can’t finish there’, but finish it did and wait for the next episode I did.
This second film ‘New Moon’ displays all the markings of the search for love and adoration as Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart)
becomes even more besotted by Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) and he the same about her.
I felt a real depiction of love hate as Bella becomes adored by the wolfman (Taylor Lautner)
causing a strange mix of friendship and camaraderie which created tension within Bella as she becomes torn between her love for Edward (the vampire extraordinaire) and the chumminess of the wolfman as the guys are sworn enemies from times gone by.
The true test of their love and adoration is laid bare as Edward and the wolfman’s full wrath is brought to the fold as they protect her in their own inimitable ways against the forces of evil baring down on her.
And then we have Eclipse
